Unrequitedness: When Love Doesn't Love You Back

Jenni and I do a podcast in addition to this blog, called Popcorn and Podcasting, so we decided to answer a question with a podcast entry, so click the play button to hear it all. There was a comment on the last entry which included the request,
"I'd love to hear advice about being in love with your best friend and them not for you, but still want the friendship. Any advice would be great :)" - anonymous

Well, Anonymous, we hope this helps!

Thank you for your advice. It was good! I shouldn't expect anything from him, so I better "decide" not to love him. Because of our situation, we will never ever be able to be out of each other's lives as he's related to my daughter (war took my late husband). So, it will definitely be tougher to not "look back at the city" and I surely wouldn't want a positive male influence out of my child's life. Obviously, I need to try, though. Thank you again. You two are a cute couple and fun to listen to :)

It did!!! My friend totally came around and we're officially dating and talking about marriage. Soo worth sticking in there. And since we were best friends for a long time, our relationship is awesome!
